H83FFDSH is a 24-channel G.fast service board without a built-in splitter. It is used for access of G.fast services and supports vectoring and metallic line testing (MELT) functions.
For details, see "Differences Between G.fast Service Boards".
For details, see "Board Power Consumption".
Figure 1 illustrates the working principle of the H83FFDSH board.
Figure 1 Working principle of the H83FFDSH board
The basic working principle of the H83FFDSH board is as follows:
The switch module switches the backplane port to the chipset module port.
The chipset module implements functions such as amplification, filtering, analog-to-digital (A/D) and digital-to-analog (D/A) conversion, coding/decoding, and encapsulation/decapsulation for the signals.
The protection module protects and isolates the board from lightning strikes.
The control module decodes and monitors signals.
The power module supplies power to other function modules of the board.
The clock module provides the working clock signals for other function modules of the board.
The centralized vectoring processing board processes vectoring signals and provides a 10G-KR port to connect to the H83FFDSH board.
