H831PAMA

H831PAMA is an AC power board that converts the 220 V AC or 110 V AC power. It then outputs -48 V DC and +12 V DC power to the backplane. Through the backplane, it passes through power to the service boards, centralized vectoring processing board, control board, and fan monitoring board.

Working Principle

Figure 1 illustrates the working principle of the H831PAMA board.

The basic working principle of the H831PAMA board is as follows:

  • The protection and filter circuit protects the AC power input against surges and lightning strikes and also limits current and filters electromagnetic interference (EMI) for the AC power input.

  • The rectifier filter circuit converts AC power into DC power.

  • The PFC step-up circuit steps up the power factor and voltage.

  • The output filter circuit filters the output of the +12 V DC power module.

  • The input power detection circuit reports the input power in real time.

  • The temperature detection and prewarning circuit reports the temperature and forecast alarms.

  • The e-label and board type reporting circuit stores the board manufacture information and reports the board type.
