Working at the PTN core layer, Huawei’s OptiX PTN 7900 supports 40
GE/100 GE interfaces — or replace with a 400 GE board — with
forwarding capacity up to 3.84 Tbit/s.
Energy-efficient electronics, dynamic power management based on the
system’s configuration and operations, and intelligent heat
dissipation features conserve power and reduce CO2 emissions by up
to 40 tons annually over traditional PTNs.
Standard application interfaces allow for user-defined programming for rapid provisioning of new services
