Compact broadband backbone transmission and switching platforms
bring high-performance Optical Transport Network (OTN) capabilities
to the enterprise. Huawei’s OptiX 1800 WDM transport systems support
both Dense and Course Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM and
CWDM), providing ample bandwidth for video surveillance, data
backup, and server-based multimedia applications.
Available in 1U and 2U rackmount models, offering 4 or 8 line cards
supporting up to 10 GE transmission speeds, Optix 1800s are ideal
for cross-connections between data centers, between Storage Area
Networks (SANs), and as an edge transport system in metropolitan
networks.
Supports 40 x 100 Gbit/s DWDM capacity, fulfilling service evolution requirements in a long term
Supports various services, including E1, E3, T3, FE, GE, STM-x, 10GE, 100GE, CPRI, FC, and SAN
Supports various service scenarios, such as fixed broadband, mobile backhaul, and leased line
Supports 2M, 1588v2, and synchronous Ethernet clocks, meeting the clock precision requirements of WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000, and LTE/LTE-A
As the core architecture of the next generation transport network, T-SDN features automation, virtualization, flexibility, openness, and synergy. Through T-SDN, the OptiX OSN 1800 can realize hardware virtualization.
