RH2485 V2 Rack Server

The HUAWEI Tecal RH2485 V2 is a new generation 4-socket rack server in a compact 2U chassis. Powered by Intel® Xeon® E5-4600 v2 series processors, it provides up to 48 computing cores and a memory capacity of 1.5 TB.

High Performance, Large Memory, Flexible I/O Expansion

  • Uses Intel® Xeon® E5-4600 v2 series processors and supports 48 DIMMs, providing a memory capacity of up to 1.5 TB. This meets the requirements for various memory-intensive applications.
  • Intel® Xeon® E5-4600 v2 series processors includes 4-, 6-, 8-, 10-, and 12-core options, providing a maximum L3 cache of 30 MB. The Intel® 8 GT/s QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) and Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 ensure powerful computing performance.
  • Flexible PCIe 3.0 slots can accommodate multiple PCIe riser cards, including HUAWEI ES series high-performance PCIe SSD cards, which is the perfect combination of high performance and high I/O bandwidth.

High Energy Efficiency

  • RH2485 V2 complies with ENERGY STAR® standards and the Energy Conservation and Environmentally Friendly Certification released by the China Quality Certification Center. The adoption of 80 PLUS® Platinum PSUs and optimized onboard DC-DC conversion ensure the high power efficiency
  • Multiple temperature sensors monitor the temperatures of key components, accordingly the cooling system can adjust the fan speed precisely to dissipate the heat generated. This increases cooling system efficiency and ensures system stable operation.
  • Dynamic power capping technology controls the maximum power consumption within the preset limit, preventing over-current. Meantime it makes the most use of the power supply.

Simple Management and Maintenance

  • Supports the black box function that facilitates fault location and quickly recovers services.
  • Implements simple system management by using the built-in BMC, which supports SOL and remote KVM, startup, and shutdown.
