Power the camera with the included power supply or over CAT5/6 cabling from its 802.3af-compliant port via an EnGenius PoE-compatible Switch, and extend power over long distances without needing to connect to an electrical outlet. This extends the camera???s flexibility for placement in older buildings, under the eaves of roofs or high atop poles.
