Well, how do you think all those games stay free? I think they make the ads super annoying on purpose so you eventually cave and pay for the premium version or whatever. Everyone wants to make money, though yeah, I agree, that way feels really dumb to me. I wonder if that counts as money extortion?

I doubt it, but that’d be funny. The developer forced me to spend money on a game I actually like just so I don’t lose my mind from an ad popping up every 5 seconds. If you’re okay with playing mini-games or stuff from indie developers, I recommend playhop.com. It’s free, doesn’t have the kind of ads you described, and you don’t even need to sign up. You can also play on your phone, works great.

Is there some site or platform with games like that? I tried some mobile games, but it drove me nuts that after every round or literally every 3 minutes, an ad would pop up, always with super loud sound.
