Versatile broadband backbone transmission platform supporting TDM and packet switching over a metropolitan or enterprise campus Optical Transport Network (OTN). Enables multiple high-bandwidth services to be delivered at less cost at speeds from 2 Mbit/s to 10 Gbit/s; also supports leased line speeds from Fast Ethernet (FE) to GE and 10 GE services.

Supports resilient, low-latency video transmission, real-time industrial automation applications, and server-based multimedia applications; cost-effective transport solution for video surveillance, Smart Grid utilities systems, medical imaging, and data centers.

OptiX OSN 1800-V

Highlights

Large bandwidth

Supports 40 x 100 Gbit/s DWDM capacity, fulfilling service evolution requirements in a long term

Full service scenarios

  • Supports various services, including E1, E3, T3, FE, GE, STM-x, 10GE, 100GE, CPRI, FC, and SAN

  • Supports various service scenarios, such as fixed broadband, mobile backhaul, and leased line

Clock

Supports 2M, 1588v2, and synchronous Ethernet clocks, meeting the clock precision requirements of WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000, and LTE/LTE-A

Flexible installation

  • 1U and 2U boxes can be installed in a cabinet, on the wall, or on a pole
  • 1U, 2U, and 5U boxes can be installed in a 19/23' standard cabinet
  •

    Low power consumption

  • Adopts natural heat dissipation and uses AC/DC power
  • Case-like design facilitates flexible deployment at any site
  • Typical 1U chassis consumes less than 25 W, which is less than the power consumption of a table lamp
  •

    T-SDN

As the core architecture of the next generation transport network, T-SDN features automation, virtualization, flexibility, openness, and synergy. Through T-SDN, the OptiX OSN 1800 can realize hardware virtualization
